Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) has revealed an impressive H1 calendar for 2024, featuring more than 70 Exhibitions, Conventions, and Conferences across its two venues, DWTC and Dubai Exhibitions Centre (DEC) in Expo City Dubai. The diverse events covering Healthcare, Food, Energy, Tourism, Transport, and Technology aim to enhance DWTC’s contribution to Dubai’s economy, solidifying its global position in the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) industry.
Mahir Abdulkarim Julfar, Executive Vice President at DWTC, emphasized the commitment to growth and expansion, with both venues preparing to host transformative events. Notable exhibitions include FESPA Middle East, Arab Health, Gulfood, Arabian Travel Market, and others, contributing to Dubai’s reputation as a leading global business and tourism destination.
DWTC serves as a versatile venue, hosting not only business events but also corporate meetings, sports, and entertainment events, significantly enriching Dubai’s citywide calendar.
The content-rich calendar includes global events such as DUPHAT, Intersec, World of Coffee Dubai, UAE International Dental Conference & Arab Dental Exhibition (AEEDC Dubai), Gulfood, World Police Summit (WPS), Dubai Derma, Middle East Energy, GISEC, World Art Dubai, Arabian Travel Market, CABSAT Middle East, and The Hotel Show.
FESPA Middle East, a pioneer in wide-format printing, is set to make its Middle East debut in January. Gulf Pack & Gulf Print, a leading print technology sourcing show in the MENA region, will explore the latest industry technology from January 9-11.
DUPHAT, one of the region’s largest scientific and medical events, returns from January 9-12, showcasing the latest technologies in the pharmaceutical sector. Intersec, marking its 25th year, promises a comprehensive event in the emergency services, security, and safety sector from January 16-18.
World of Coffee Dubai, from January 21-23, is set to impress with its third edition, featuring workshops and a trade show floor with 300+ exhibitors. The Arab Health Exhibition and Congress, from January 29 to February 1, will host over 3,450 exhibitors, reinforcing its position as the largest gathering of healthcare professionals in the MENA region.
February sees the UAE International Dental Conference & Arab Dental Exhibition (AEEDC Dubai) from February 6-8, focusing on Education and Innovation Transfer. Gulfood, the world’s largest annual trade show in the food and beverage industry, returns from February 19-23.
March unfolds with the International Congress of Endocrinology (ICE) from March 1-3, exploring the ‘Future of Endocrinology.’ The World Police Summit (WPS) follows from March 4-6, bringing together global law enforcement authorities under the theme ‘Uniting Global Forces for a Safer Tomorrow.’
The bustling events continue in April with GISEC, the leading cybersecurity gathering. Arabian Travel Market returns in May from 6-9, and CABSAT Middle East follows from May 21-23, focusing on media, content broadcast, satellite, and entertainment.
June concludes the series with The Hotel Show, the flagship event for the hospitality industry, taking place from June 4-6. Mahir Abdulkarim Julfar expressed optimism, stating that Dubai’s upcoming events season is set to be one of the busiest globally, reinforcing DWTC’s role as a catalyst for Dubai’s economic success.
